Join CSRA and be a part of the team of men and women that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges. The Joint Services Provider (JSP) program is searching for an Investigative Search Lead to join their team in Arlington, VA.
The Joint Service Provider (JSP) program provides a full range of information technology products, services, solutions and customer support to the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS) and the Joint Staff (JS), the Director of Administration (DA), the Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA), the Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) and other various OSD offices to meet mission and business requirements.
As the Lead, you will provide expert level Security Engineering management and technical support services focused on the implementation and execution of DoD security policies, procedures and other JSP information systems security procedures and policies.
Duties include:
Respond to any security threats or breach as part of the Computer Incident Response Teams (CIRTS). Provide innovative technical security solutions to resolve incidents.
Perform all activities associated with Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and legal search requests.
Coordinate the execution of all legal search requests by validating that the appropriate paperwork is submitted in the request.
Serve as the POC SME for the FOIA and Investigative and Search Requests (ISRs) process
Serve as liaison between requestor and technicians executing the search
Coordinate with appropriate organization (e.g., WHS, PFPA, and OGC) to ensure legal and technical considerations are adhered to
Review ISRs and drafts the JSP ISR Search Requirements Definition Document (RDD)
Coordinate search requirements with Technical Search Team (TST)
Provide ISR status reports to the JSP Approval Authority and other Government leadership as requested
Work with technicians to prepare an estimate of the approximate time, cost, and operational impact of fulfilling the request and provide results to Government leadership for approval
Prepare the Custody Results Release (CRR), which documents Network transfers, media transfers, and Web downloads
Prepare release package for requester. Package includes:
Results on media, network transfer or web down load
RDD (with a copy to EAA)
Copy of the signed Release Forms (network or Media)
Maintain ISR spreadsheet and make sure all Work Orders and Tasks are up to date
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an IT related field
3+ years working with DoD investigative searches
IAT Level II certification
CND Level II certification
Demonstrated experience with processing investigative and FOIA search requests
Strong technical writing experience

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
