Description
The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) mission is to preserve and promote public confidence in the U.S. financial systems by insuring deposits in banks and thrift institutions for up to $250,000; by identifying, monitoring, and addressing risks to the deposit insurance funds; and by limiting the effect on the account and the financial system when a bank or thrift institution fails.
CSRA provides the day-to-day operational services to FDIC in support of infrastructure, facilities, hardware, software, and systems. CSRA supports operational security, client support/help desk, data center operations, asset management, and systems engineering service areas.
Essential Job Functions
Assists in the development and definition of knowledge management systems; deploys knowledge management programs knowledge management technologies tools and concepts.
Assists deployed knowledge management program teams to audit and maintain implemented knowledge management programs.
Works in conjunction with appropriate parties to identify, design, develop and implement processes, procedures and reusable templates that support or enhance the knowledge management program.
Develop knowledge sharing strategies and processes; ensures knowledge architecture is administered.
Coordinates and maintains content, tools and change management delivery channels within web based delivery environment. Ensures latest tools are incorporated into knowledge management programs.
Facilitates knowledge sharing and ensures consistency of understanding across business units.
Develops and integrates knowledge infrastructure and processes, plans, standards, reuse; ensures proper training.
Locates appropriate knowledge management content within the company in order to enhance the delivery processes and to efficiently transfer knowledge to employees.
Analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems.
Represents the business unit to define requirements and business cases for the technology developments.
Coordinates with business and technology teams ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, execution of users acceptance and may coordinate testing, and system techniques and controls.
Requires knowledge of computer system capabilities, business processes, and workflow.
Qualifications
Qualifications
BA or equivalent + 0 yrs experience
Knowledge of ITIL Processes
Strong organizational skills; must be able to multitask, balance, and prioritize work without sacrificing attention to details.
Strong writing skills; must be able to intuit technical assumptions and compel SME input in a high-pressure environment.
Experience working with industry knowledge management programs, tool and techniques.
Must be able to come up to speed on new project areas quickly as this role will grow quickly
Assists in creating project plan, etc. for completing documentation.
Interpersonal skills for communicating and providing leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
