To support this important work, MVM, Inc. is seeking qualifiedRegulatory Affairs Specialist Iavailable on afull-time basis(regular office hours) inArlington, VA.
Summary of Daily Roles:
+ Supports activities regarding the review and updating of regulations and the drafting of new regulations that accurately reflect the policies of the organization/agency and federal statues in a manner that enhances certainty for those registered with the agency, the public, and assists the office in fulfilling its functional responsibilities;
+ Assists in the resolution of administrative issues or problems relating to conflicts with current regulations or limitations in current agency policy;
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
+ B.A. in Political Science/Criminal Justice or any related field;
+ Four (4) years of experience in a professional setting;
+ Experience with legal principles and practices;
+ Experience with conducting factual research, organizing and analyzing information;
+ Ability to work independently, while managing multiple tasks;
+ Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral;
+ United States Citizen;
+ Applicants selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and must meet eligibility and suitability requirements which includes a favorable credit check; no Felony Conviction or Multiple Misdemeanor Convictions, and no prior drug use;
+ Typing skills of at least 40+ wpm;
+ Proficient in MS Office.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
