Mission Support Assistant

Job Description:
Job Title: RAIO Mission Support Assistant
Job Purpose: Provide normal day-to-day administrative/records management support to RAIO
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Day to day functions):
Tracking statistics
Data entry into automated system(s)
Create and verifying records in the Central Index System (CIS)
Process updates to the National File Tracking System (NFTS) for incoming and outgoing files
Scan documents
File maintenance in accordance with the USCIS Office of Records Management?s Records Operations Handbook (ROH)
Adhere to the appropriate regulations to provide for timely and accurate distribution of incoming and outgoing file and mail within the facility
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested
Minimum Experience, Education and Licensure:
High School Diploma or equivalent
U.S. Citizenship
Have or has the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
At least 2 years previous experience performing administrative duties in a government or professional setting
Computer skills required: Microsoft Office Suite products
Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment and relate well to others
Ability to show initiative and commitment to the company?s goals
Ability to readily adapt to changing requirements
Strong commitment to performing and producing at the highest level of quality at all times
Ability to manage individual workflow effectively and improve processes when necessary
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with coworkers both in written and verbal
communications
Positive attitude focused on customer satisfaction
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; use fingers and hands to type or write; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; taste or smell. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Ability to Lift up to 20 lbs, bends, reach, carry, stoop, kneel, climb, etc.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
