Position Summary
Responsible for the quality of civil/ structural engineering work performed, client service, utilization of staff, marketing, reputation of the office, contract management, billing collection, and project profitability for civil engineering projects. Such projects include, but are not limited to land/site development, transportation, and public works.
+ Conceptualizes the initial civil design approach for major phases of large land/site development, related projects, or has overall responsibility for the civil engineering work on an aforementioned type project of a larger scope.
+ Plans, schedules, conduct or coordinate civil engineering work.
+ Also, supervises the design and ongoing progress of a project, including the coordination of the project with City, State, and County officials, and other outside agencies.
+ Resolves a variety of complex problems, (i.e. conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, difficult coordination requirements).
+ Consults with supervisor on unusual problems and developments.
+ Serves as a liaison between clients and agencies, subcontractors, and design teams.
+ As a discipline lead for site civil projects, this position will organize teams, develop work plans for new contracts, assigns tasks to qualified staff and monitor and review technical progress of these tasks.
+ Reviews plans and prepares or reviews technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates.
+ Participates in contract bidding and administration; observes project action on site.
+ Leads, coordinates and reviews the work of less experienced engineers and/or technical support personnel assigned to the project.
+ Performs other duties assigned by a Senior or Lead Engineer or Project Manager
+ Minimum 10-15 years of relevant experience required
+ BS or MS degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from and ABET accredited university required
+ PE registration required
+ Local civil engineering experience in the planning/evaluation, design, permitting, and construction aspects of civil and environmental engineering projects, including the following technical aspects: site/civil design, storm water management design, environmental permitting, and development of construction documents (drawings, specifications, and calculations) required
+ Ability to guide and direct junior and mid-level engineering staff required
+ Excellent technical/report writing skills required
+ US Citizenship is required
+ Secret level security clearance preferred, TS clearance highly preferred, TS/SCI with CI or full scope polygraph most highly preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
