Junior Consultant

The Entry Level Junior Consultant will work closely on a dynamic team comprised of ABS Consulting employees and highly engaged client representatives to meet fast\-paced project requirements and provide end\-user support\. Team members provide a variety of services to support the implementation of organizational and performance improvement programs within a government agency in the Washington DC area\. Members of the team are often provided with increased responsibility in a short time with the opportunity to help transform government agencies\.
Responsibilities include:
Work with government organizations to maximize performance and organizational effectiveness by improving planning processes, policy development, prioritizing and implementing initiatives, developing performance measures, and training government personnel to facilitate change management
Work in a team environment with daily coordination of activities
Understand and apply performance improvement and process management concepts
Perform research and develop recommendations
Develop and analyze performance measures to provide insights into decision\-making\.
Facilitate client meetings to develop and implement performance improvement initiatives
Develop conclusions and recommendations, write reports, and assist with client presentations
Identify opportunities for enhancing service offerings within a client organization or business area and serve as a task lead for projects by managing delivery and client relationships
Participate in marketing activities, including proposal development, conference presentations, technical whitepapers
Required Experience:
+ Successful candidates shall have approximately of 0\-5 years of related work experience
+ Must have a Bachelor?s Degree
+ Experience with MS Sharepoint is highly desirable
+ Preferred experience with performance measures and process mapping
+ Preferred experience working with government organizations
+ Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Visio
+ Candidates should have strong written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
+ Must be a U\.S\. citizen and able to obtain SECRET level clearance

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
