Freedom Partners seeks a detail orientated Accounting Intern to assist with review and reconciliation of accounting transactions related to Freedom Partners and its client organizations. Essential Responsibilities:
Assist with the review and entry of information into different excel spreadsheets.
Provide support to multiple teams involved in the accounting process.
Assist in continually improving and streamlining accounting processes.
Process accurate information quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Work both independently and as part of a larger team.
Qualifications:
0-1 years of experience in a professional, office environment
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree
Demonstrated interest in accounting and bookkeeping
Strong computer skills and proven proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
High level of integrity and confidentiality
Proven attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Appreciation for free market ideals and principles of limited government

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
