Data Quality and Conversion Analyst

Key Role:
Leverage knowledge of data and processes to educate and support functional and technical teams regarding the processes for data mapping, data construction, and data validations and resolve data deficiencies prior to data loads. Perform analysis of legacy system data through data readiness recommendation reports prior to migration of data to a COTS-based enterprise solution, comprehend target data requirements of COTS, and perform analysis of data mappings and transformation logic to comprehend relevant data validation rules. Ensure defects and other gaps identified from validation reports and readiness reports are resolved during each data load cycle. Support the activities of documenting, monitoring, and resolving conversion-related issues with functional and technical teams. Work actively with deployment team members to answer data mapping or integration questions during each phase of the deployment cycle. Work with the deployment team to show the installations and functional team how to read, interpret, and use data validation and readiness reports.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with designing, developing, and executing tests that confirm the success of the data conversion process
Experience in working with data and how it supports the business
Experience with documenting business requirements
Experience with Microsoft Excel, including macros, formulas, or pivot tables and Access, including Visual Basic
Ability to be successful in ambiguous environments
Ability to learn COTS tools and established processes related to data conversion design or build activities
Secret clearance
BA or BS degree required
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with data quality investigation and root cause analysis
Experience with AF systems and processes related to civil engineering a plus
Experience with designing and executing end-to-end integration testing
Knowledge of data structures associated with various styles of system design
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Possession of excellent analytical, problem-solving, presentation, analytical, and technical skills
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
