New Business Sales Manager
Job Summary
Currently, we have an outstanding opportunity for a New Business Sales Manager. The New Business Sales Manager (NBSM) is a highly motivated, solutions-oriented sales manager and organizational leader who can motivate new-business sales account executives to meet or exceed sales objectives and who understands thek-12 education student success market and or can quickly acclimate and learn the industry. The NBSM will be directly responsible for managing 7 to 10 Account Executives that reach out to and build relationships with schools and districts within a specific geographic territory supporting between a 3M to 5M dollar quota of annual sales and revenue.
This position will be located in: Arlington, VA (Clarendon metro).
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Maximize revenue potential through collaboration between new business, account development, and renewal representatives. The ultimate goal here will be to help the team design and execute against a collaborative territory plan and strategy across the region.
Supervise Hobsons K12 Advising institutional sales staff. Oversee the sales effort and territory development of all new business opportunities that are assigned to his/her team. Create and execute a territory plan, assigns tasks, provides direction, resolves client and employee problems and enforces policies, procedures, and work standards.
Work within scope of responsibilities and authority to meet P&L goals. This can include the management of any and all T&E expenses that are incurred within that region
Conduct sales calls with the team to explain benefits and features of Hobsons' products to prospective clients.
Present sales demonstrations with the team to prospective clients and assist in negotiations and closing of new contracts.
Should be able to mentor, coach, and help train a sales professionals in all forms of sales skills and methodologies
Provide weekly reports on the status of the business to the sales leadership group. This will include forecast reports, personnel reports as well as qualitative overviews of the health and wealth of the NBSM's regional business.
Stay well informed about current industry trends through constant reading, research, and general due diligence and as a result be able to talk informatively about the education industry as a whole as well as the education technology solutions industries
Source, recruit, interview and hire top quality sales professionals in an ongoing fashion throughout the course of the calendar year
Should be well versed in executive based relationship building and selling
Oversee and has ultimate responsibility for the accuracy of data in salesforce.com and the effective use of all required sales tools
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree required
5+ year's new business, enterprise software or solution-selling in a competitive market with a 2-4 month sales cycle required
Ability to motivate and inspire a diverse sales force with experience recruiting and retaining high-quality enterprise-class solutions sales professionals
Strong listening and communication skills and style appropriate for the K-12 education industry
Strong interpersonal relationship skills that will allow him/her to build partnerships with internal peers, subordinates and managers all while working within the construct of the organizational structure and culture
Strong conflict resolution, negotiating and influencing skills
Highly organized and detail oriented
Responsive and persistent
Ability to multi-task to support multiple direct reports simultaneously

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
