Manager, Enterprise Risk Management

The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) department reports to the Chief Risk Officer. This group is responsible for managing the ERM framework across the enterprise, supporting governance of risk-related activities, developing corporate policies and procedures and reporting key risk indicators.
Summary: The Manager, Enterprise Risk Management position supports corporate risk reporting for various management committees as well as the Board Risk Oversight Committee. In addition, the position will support various risk related projects.
Manage monthly risk reporting for ERM including, reporting packages for various management committees as well as the Board Risk Oversight Committee.
Ensure that risk events are escalated and documented for the appropriate management committees as required by policy, regulatory guidelines and/or best practice.
Maintain existing reporting process and drive enhancements
Manage tracking of progress against internal audit and regulatory findings
Support ad hoc risk-related projects and requests as needed
Bachelor's degree required
5-7 years of experience within a financial services company and/or with project management working in-house, at a consulting firm or with a regulator prefered
Strong communication skills, particularly using Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with various personnel across the organization
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to ensure timely completion with minimal supervision
Capable of balancing multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of responsiveness and high quality deliverables

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
