FMS Policy Analyst (Job Number:423375)
SAIC is seeking a Policy Analyst to join our Arlington based team.
- Support fast-paced foreign military sales (FMS) office advancing USAF security cooperation goals. Resolve FMS policy issues and draft AF instructions.
- Review sole source FMS requests and facilitate FMS actions.
- Interpret and analyze DoD policy related to building partnership capacity (BPC).
- Review and coordinate FOIA inquiries on FMS- related issues.
- Help draft curriculum on FMS-related regulations.
- Coordinate with Air Staff offices.
- Provide day-to-day staff support.
- Track USAF inspection system metrics.
Required Experience:
- BA or BS in international affairs, political analysis, or related field and 3 years of professional experience.
- Must have Active Secret Clearance
- Subject matter expertise/proficiency is needed for fundamental project management as well as use of MS Project, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel.
- 1+years? experience supporting a Military Service staff or equivalent in a complex environment. Knowledge of Foreign Military Sales processes, procedures, and documentation.
- Demonstrated proficiency in DoD staff processes and procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively in written, oral, and briefing methods.
Desired Skills:
- Prior Air Staff experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with application of knowledge management technology to policy development.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
