What You'll Be Doing:
Devise and implement processes to improve efficiency and accuracy of the accounts payable function
Supervise three accounts payable coordinators and perform detailed reviews of work product (i.e, supplier invoice coding)
Complete weekly settlement runs for suppliers and employee expense report reimbursements
Improve the processing cycle time for supplier invoices
Ensure all financial deadlines regarding accounts payable are met for financial closings
Oversee annual 1099 reporting process
The Experience You Need (Required):
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum of five (5) years of experience within full-cycle accounts payable and T&E
Finishing Touches (Preferred):
Minimum of one (1) year of previous supervisory experience
Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to convey business requirements and technical needs in a clear, concise, and effective manner
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across Divisions and Departments
Ability to organize and plan work effectively to meet goals and objectives

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
