Mission/ Directive:
Quantum is currently seeking experienced candidates to provide support as Analysts.
Each shall have a degree(s) in applied mathematics or statistics and demonstrated experience in conducting analytical studies using a variety of mathematical, statistical, and other operations research techniques to identify and define problems, develop and investigate alternative courses of action, and present findings and recommendations.
Formal training in SAS Statistical Analysis software is required.
Responsibilities
Work in in support of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Programs (G-8) Force Development Directorate s Director of Resources (DOR), who is responsible for providing oversight and management of the timeline, process, and procedures used in developing the Equipping portion of the Army s Program. The DOR is also responsible for providing resource policy guidance and prioritization, equipment affordability assessments, and quick-turn analysis that assists FD leaders in making informed programming and budgeting decisions.
Specific duties will include:
Provide decision analysis consistent with the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) development and review processes
Provide analysis in support of the Army Campaign Plan and Equipment Modernization Strategy development by constructing models in SAS. Manipulate SAS models via mathematical, statistical, computer or other techniques as well as validate and evaluate the model as applied to the practical problem at hand.
Analyze and apply data and information to assess the impact of POM decisions on Army Equipment Modernization utilizing a variety of using analytic techniques such as statistical analysis, modeling, forecasting and measurement to effect analyses (e.g. ANOVA, Multiple Regression), cost analysis, flow modeling, forecast modeling, linear programming, simulations and queuing theory, and business reengineering/IDEF modeling.
Requirements
Analyst must have a Bachelor s Degree in Mathematics or Statistics, with formal training in the SAS Statistical Modeling Software.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
