Sales Engineer, Energy Storage

This fast-paced team operates across and alongside businesses throughout the AES platform.
AES Energy Storage (AESES) is seeking an energy storage technical sales support engineer for several regional market areas in the US and abroad. This role will be the primary person responsible for providing technical support for energy storage system and solution sales in the target regions from AESâ existing platform of businesses, via channel partners and with third party customers. The role will involve customer, partner and related stakeholder training, formulation of technical offers based on AESâ storage solutions, and coordination of opportunity development activities.
Primary Responsibilities:
+ Develop a deep understanding for the Advancion energy storage technology and provide sales teams with technical support as well as product configuration guidance to drive successful sales.
+ Take a lead role in developing a process to capture customer technical and application requirements to help shape the Advancion product roadmap.
+ Support dynamic system modelling efforts to optimize the product offering for the target application
+ Assist in the development of tools and support materials to streamline and scale global sales.
+ Work with sales and operational teams to support the technical component of contract negotiations.
+ Manage pre-construction engineering, product configuration, and selection of BOP contractors.
+ Support technical and financial evaluation of new Advancion certified component suppliers.
+ The preferred candidate should have a minimum of an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering or at least 5 to 10 years of experience in energy storage technical support and project development with a proven capability to understand complex technical solutions.
+ Advanced degree in power systems and related experience in the energy sector within complex solutions a plus.
+ Strong presentation and interpersonal skills required. The candidate should be capable of explaining/communicating in a compelling manner energy storage value propositions and technical solutions reflecting customer needs to audiences composed of technical, commercial, and regulatory backgrounds.
+ Possess strong verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to contribute technical content for marketing collateral or messaging. English required, additional (Spanish, Portuguese or French) languages a plus.
+ Solid working knowledge and experience using Dig silent, PSS/E, MathLab modeling software and MS office suite of application software with the ability to evaluate energy storage models for consistency with business needs.
+ Demonstrated business judgment and individual initiative. The ability to work with minimal supervision.
+ Gain an in-depth understanding of AES and the AESES Advancion product in order to promote its value to partners, customers and stakeholders.
+ Ability to work dynamically, cross functionally and cross boarders within teams spanning both the regional organization and the energy storage team in a fast-moving technical business environment.
+ Entrepreneurial drive and ability to prioritize and execute on many tasks in parallel
+ Willing and able to travel, domestically and internationally, up to 10% of the time.
+ Demonstrated practical experience managing a salesforce CRM solution platform for interaction with sales teams.
+ Ability to travel to target markets as needed.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
