IT Business Analytics Specialist

Key Role:
Support the defense market through the provision of innovation and analytic services, including conducting research, developing, writing, reviewing, and commenting on procedures relating to innovation within government. Develop and recommend advanced analytic courses of actions for enhancing a culture of innovation. Participate in discussions with high level DoD staff to develop, coordinate, and change guidance and directives.
Basic Qualifications:
-3 years of experience in a professional work environment
-1 year of experience with innovation initiatives, including lean innovation, crowd sourcing, and technical innovation challenges
-Experience with analytics in gathering and analyzing data and communicating findings
-Experience with design thinking
-Experience with designing and implementing data-driven strategies for clients
-Ability to work independently and lead tasks in formal and informal group settings
-Active Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-Knowledge of the DoD Acquisition process, including DAU Acq 101 or risk management process preferred
-Experience with Software Development Program Office
-Experience with acquisition in software development.
-Experience with testing and evaluation of software application or working closely with software development team to refine requirements
-Experience with Agile development
-Experience with software languages, including Java, C , Python, R, HTML 5, Microsoft Access, or VBA
-Experience with developing rapid dashboard prototypes
-Experience with change management
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
