Back Office Commercial Sales Support Manager ? Energy Storage

This fast-paced team operates across and alongside businesses throughout the AES platform.
AES is seeking an energy storage commercial sales support manager for several regional market areas in the US and abroad. Reporting to the Commercial Sales Director, this role will be the primary person responsible for providing back office commercial and technical support for energy storage system and solution sales in the target regions from AES' existing platform of businesses, via channel partners and with third party customers. This role will involve the formulation of commercial offers based on AES' storage solutions, coordination of project development activities and customer, partner and related stakeholder training.
Major responsibilities to include:
Support in the creation of customer technical and commercial offers to meet customer needs
Prepare bids and offers combining features and commercial terms to attract customers
Support preparation of contracts including determining and assessing business risks associated with scope of projects
Interact with legal support on contract terms
Assist in management of ad hoc special projects related to proposal development
Engage in defining and maintaining best practices of full life cycle proposal preparation
Qualifications:
The preferred candidate should have a minimum of an undergraduate degree and 5+ years of experience in business development, commercial management, sales, or project development with a proven capability to understand technical products.
Advanced degree or MBA preferred. Work experience in the power/energy/construction sector and/or within sales of new solutions are required.
Strong presentation and interpersonal skills required. The candidate should be capable of creating compelling new offers reflecting customer needs and communicating them to audiences composed of technical, commercial, and regulatory backgrounds.
Possess strong verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to contribute content within marketing collateral or messaging. English required, additional (Spanish, French) languages a plus.
Solid financial modeling experience using Excel with the ability to evaluate offers for consistency with business needs.
Demonstrated business judgment and individual initiative. The ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to work dynamically and cross functionally within teams spanning both the regional organization and the energy storage team in a fast-moving technical business environment.
Possess an entrepreneurial drive for getting things done and a "whatever it takes" attitude.
Ability to travel to target markets as needed (minimal).

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
