Responsibilities:
The candidate should be experienced in Telecommunications, Mobile/Wireless Systems, radio or satellite systems working for either commercial industry or government
The candidate will be a senior member of the contractor support analysis team providing telecommunications analytical support and geographical information support (GIS) to a DHS National Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center (NCCIC) customer in Arlington, VA. The team utilizes GIS and modeling/simulation tools, in conjunction with wide subject matter expertise in commercial telecommunications networks to develop analyses that ensure availability despite threats to or disruptions of the infrastructure.
As a telecommunications SME for the Modeling and Analysis team for DHS NCCIC team, candidate will conduct studies and develop analytical of the National Security and Emergency Preparedness (NS/EP) telecommunications infrastructure to support disaster response and National Continuity Policy requirements.
Activities include development of white papers and briefings to provide information to senior government leaders, government and industry partners and emergency responders. Other activities may include temporary deployment to disaster and other relocation sites and other duties and tasks that may be needed to meet the client needs. Excellent research skills needed.
Candidate will also support the NCCIC in acquiring best of breed analytical, asset mapping and cybersecurity product offerings and tools/datasets from both academia and commercial industry for inclusion in NCCIC visualization and analysis tool kit.
Qualifications:
Bachelors required (preferably in Technology area either engineering, IT or computer science). Masters preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
