The National Cybersecurity Protection System (NCPS) is an integrated system of intrusion detection, analytics, intrusion prevention, and information sharing capabilities that are used to defend the Federal Executive Branch's IT infrastructure from cyber threats. NCPS is housed within the Network Security Deployment (NSD) Division of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
CSRA provides NSD with operations and maintenance support to sustain NCPS cybersecurity capabilities.We are currently seeking an experienced Linux Engineer with hands on knowledge of HP Openview in Arlington, VA. This position requires the chosen candidate to have an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
Essential Job Functions
Perform upgrades, patching, troubleshooting, starting and stopping the applications along with routine maintenance, and tuning.
Create TQL queries.
Create templates and creating monitors.
Provide advanced technical knowledge, configuration and troubleshooting of specialized applications in an enterprise operational environment.
Perform system upgrades, maintenance, and reporting.
Monitor enterprise-wide systems and related infrastructure; ensuring that any issues that may adversely impact the confidentiality, integrity or availability of computing resources are identified, properly alerted and promptly resolved.
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, evaluates alternatives including cost and risk, supportability and analyses for total systems.
Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Degree Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Years of Experience required: 7+ years
Experience supporting HP OpenView in an enterprise /distributed architecture
Minimum of 2 years hands-on operational support experience with HP BSM 9.2 in high availability configuration
Minimum of 2 years hands-on operational support experience with uCMDB 10.X
RedHat Enterprise Linux RHEL 6.X OS and Microsoft Windows 2008/2012 OS
HP Business Service Management (BSM) / Operations Manager (Omi) tool
SiteScope (SiS) 10.x
HP Universal Configuration Management Database (uCMDB)

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
