Master Data Management Policy Analyst, Senior

Key Role:
Support the creation and development of a new work-stream supporting data management policy analysis, master data management strategic planning, master data analysis, and conformation to policy, standards, and industry best practices. Develop Department of the Navy (DON) functional data management strategy for financial system environment general ledger and feeder systems. Analyze federal, DoD, and DON legislation, policy, and guidance to identify gaps and outdated or obsolete policy and guidance and recommend FM- and DON-level policy or guidance to address gaps. Identify required tools listed in federal, DoD, and DON legislation, policy, and guidance. Identify data standards and business rules listed in federal, DoD, and DON legislation, policy, and guidance.
Basic Qualifications:
5 years of experience with DoD policy
Experience with using and leveraging DMBOK and federal data policy in a real world environment
Experience with writing federal, DoD, or DON policies that affect enterprise-wide change
Knowledge of data management principals and best practices
Ability to gain user buy-in and explain complex principles
Ability to lead a team to research various government financial policies and determine implementation strategies
Secret clearance
BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with IT and data management a plus
Experience with developing enterprise strategy
Experience with DoD financial systems, including Navy general ledger systems
Knowledge of data reporting and creating a BI environment
Ability to adapt and excel in a culture with a high degree of ambiguity
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
BA or BS degree in Information Systems Management, Business, Public Administration, or a related field
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
