FINANCIAL ANALYST
Position Summary:
Life Cycle Engineering is seeking various levels of talented financial analysts and accountants to support and help improve the Department of Navy's ability to successfully respond to financial statement audits through active communication with all stakeholders and applying and developing subject matter expertise.
Contract Requirements:
Requires active DoD Secret Clearance or Interim
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Serve as liaison between Independent Public Accountant (IPA), Navy Activities, and Shared Service Providers
Facilitate internal Navy and ad hoc external audits with Navy Activities
Assist Navy Activities with understanding auditor NFRs and help them implement CAPs
Collect and apply lessons learned from current and past audits to progressively improve the Department of Navy's ability to successfully respond to audit
Required Education, Skills, and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in relevant business or technical field. An additional 4 years of experience can be substituted for the Bachelor's degree.
Junior to mid-level - 2 years of progressive experience in participating in business or financial management services and related projects, including managerial experience
Mid to senior level - 5 years of progressive experience in participating in business or financial management services and related projects, including managerial experience

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
