As a Systems Engineer for MITRE you will provide systems engineering support to a variety of programs related to Law Enforcement, National Intelligence, and government Information Systems. You will work on some of the most challenging technical and programmatic issues facing this important national security sponsor located in Washington, DC.

Key Functions
MITRE is seeking a systems engineer to serve as a subject matter expert on data access business rules within an integrated team of legal, security, technical, and operational mission representatives. The candidate will be capable of analyzing laws, policies, and mission sensitivities governing information and data access and developing corresponding data access business rules expressed in Natural Language Policy (NLP), and in graphical models such as decision trees. The rules will define the relationship between associated entity attributes and resource attributes (data tags) within the context of an Attribute Based Access Control (ABAC) framework. Familiarity with ABAC is not required but may be helpful.

Required Skills:
Specific knowledge, experience, and expertise in multiple of the following:
- Working on an integrated team to define data access business rules based on law, policy and mission sensitivities.
- Identifying, extending, or defining entity attribute and resource attribute (data tagging) standards.
-Systems engineering with a solid foundation in requirements analysis.
-Understanding of (or ability to understand) governing laws, policies, and mission sensitivities that define data access requirements.
-Excellent writing, speaking, and presentation skills.
-Ability to work on an integrated team of legal, security, policy, and operational (mission) stakeholders.
-Awareness or understanding of capabilities and standards associated with attribute based access control (ABAC)
-Providing on-site support collocated with a customer or sponsor.
Minimum Education/ Experience
BS and 10 years of related experience including 2 years of leadership experience.
Travel Statement This position will require overnight travel up to 10 % of the time as well as some local travel.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
