Description
The coordinated terrorist attacks on the morning of September 11, 2001 forever impacted the course of history and the American way of life. Those attacks resulted in the creation of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), designed to prevent similar attacks from occurring in the future.
CSRA supports the TSA, the leading Counterterrorism Agency for the US Government, by managing its worldwide IT environment. Our day-to-day mission is to provide that support in such a way that TSA can protect every single one of those 695 million people equally well, thus protecting our transportation infrastructure and ensuring freedom of movement for people and commerce.
Currently, we are seeking a mid-level manager to join our End User Services (EUS) Division. This position requires the chosen candidate to be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Essential Job Functions
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
Reviews status of projects and budgets, manages schedules, and prepares status reports.
Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, clients and other stakeholders.
Oversees and manages the team responsible for request fulfillment, through internal staff or subcontractor dispatch technicians.
Acts as technical monitor for subcontractor staff within the EUS division.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Associate's degree in computer science, project management, or related field preferred
Five or more years of project management experience
Experience working in IT support environment preferred
Experience supporting IT infrastructure projects
Experience superivising professionals who are located elsewhere across the country
Other Qualifications

Good analytical and problem solving skills
Good organization and time management skills
Good computer skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to maintain formal and informal networks
This position requires writing reports and communicating with various Subject Matter Experts and across technical disciplines
Active DOD Secret or higher level clearance preferred. Candidate must successfully pass DOD interim secret (if not already active) and TSA EOD prior to filling the position
An ideal candidate would possess an ITIL certification or PMP

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
