Management Consultant \- Strategic/ERM
This is a mid\-level Management Consultant role with a strategic focus on Enterprise Risk Management \(ERM\)
The Management Consultant will work closely on a dynamic team comprised of ABS Consulting employees and highly engaged client representatives to meet fast\-paced project requirements and provide end\-user support\. Team members provide a variety of services to support the implementation of risk management programs within a government agency in the Washington DC area\. Members of the team are often provided with increased responsibility in a short time with the opportunity to influence ground breaking work in risk management\.
Responsibilities include:
Work with government organizations to maximize performance and organizational effectiveness by improving planning processes, policy development, prioritizing and implementing initiatives, developing performance measures, and training government personnel to facilitate change management
Work in a team environment with daily coordination of activities
Understand and apply risk concepts
Perform research and develop recommendations
Analyze datasets to generate descriptive statistics and perform statistical analysis to identify trends and anomalies in data
Present work to an audience of 10\-20 people conveying data results or facilitating discussion to support a client decision
Develop conclusions and strategic recommendations, write reports, and assist with client presentations
Identify opportunities for enhancing service offerings within a client organization or business area and serve as a task lead for projects by managing delivery and client relationships
Participate in marketing activities, including proposal development, conference presentations, technical whitepapers
Ba Required Experience:
+ Successful candidates shall have approximately
of 5
years of management consulting experience
including some experience related to enterprise
risk management
+ Must have a Bachelor?s Degree
+ Preferred experience performing complex
analyses and quantitative analyses
+ Preferred experience working with government
+ Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
+ Candidates should have strong written, verbal
communication, and interpersonal skills
+ Must be a U\.S\. citizen and able to obtain
SECRET level clearance

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
