Analyst- Advanced- Dahlgren, VA

ASI is actively recruiting for Analysts to support the Missile Defense Agency in Dahlgren, VA. We are looking for super stars to join our team who share the passion and energy to support our federal customers. Advanced Analysts with experience in any of the following areas: Budget Formulation and Execution, Cost Analysis, Cost Estimating, Earned Value Management System or Foreign Military Sales. The qualified candidates must have a DOD Secret Clearance.
General Characteristics: The Advanced Analyst supports the Missile Defense Agency, under the Technical, Engineering, Advisory & Management Support (TEAMS) acquisition strategy, and would be based in Dahlgren, VA. The position is contingent upon contract award.
Advanced Analyst Responsibilities:
Leading and executing tasks associated with Business Operations
Performing Budget Formulation and Budget Execution
Conducting Cost Analysis, Cost Estimating, and Earned Value
Oversee Accounting and processes in the Financial Accounting Systems
Monitor and conduct Foreign Military Sales for complex weapon systems
Advanced Analyst Qualifications:
BA/BS in related field with 10 years of relevant experience
A DoD Secret Clearance
Proficient in standards, principles, practices, and processes related to Business Operations, Accounting, Cost Analysis, Cost Estimating, and Earned Value
Experience and understanding of financial systems
Experience with Foreign Military Sales for complex weapon systems
Capable of working independently and leading teams in solving complex problems
Capable of providing daily supervision and direction to support teams
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
Experience working with senior level federal executives on a daily basis
Prior MDA experience preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
