What You'll Be Doing:
Evolent Health is looking for a Senior Analyst to be a key member of the growing Business Development team. Business Development is responsible for the firm's growth strategy and developing new customer relationships when opening new markets. In fueling the engine of a high growth company, This role works closely with Evolent's leadership team and with external clients. Leveraging Evolent's industry leading population health capabilities, this unique position is ideal for highly motivated candidates with a passion for impacting systemic change across the healthcare industry.
The Business Development team is seeking an entrepreneurial and forward-thinking Senior Analyst to accelerate Evolent's growth trajectory. As part of a small and nimble team, the Senior Analyst will be responsible for leading the research, development, and analysis of new market entry strategies and prospective customer acquisition.
Support the research, development, and acquisition of new customers and markets:
Utilize publicly available data and subscribed databases
Research and size potential market opportunities
Identify, prioritize, and evaluate prospective customers
Assist in defining potential partnership development concepts
Develop financial models
Assess competitive pressures
Identify value creation opportunities in markets
Devise marketing and sales strategies
Support target identification and development strategies
Create reports and briefings educating the Business Development team and others on findings
Create detailed profiles of markets and prospective customers
Sales Process Support:
Assist and/or lead the development of value propositions and uniquely constructed for individual prospective customers
Create presentations in support of early stage discussions with targets
Establish contact with prospective customers to gain agreement for meetings
Support and coordinate development activities
Travel to prospect meetings as requested
The Experience You Need (Required):
Bachelor's Degree
Two (2) years of professional experience
Finishing Touches (Preferred):
Proven track record of analytical and excel skills within academics and professional work
Experience in developing growth strategies and profiles, with a management consulting firm or internal corporate strategy, marketing or business development group
Experience influencing others in a matrix team environment, as well as working independently and autonomously
Track record in balancing "out of the box" creative problem solving with fact-based arguments
Comfortable engaging in back-and-forth conversation with senior leaders, ability to be convincing, and ability to develop strong relationships
Health care payer-provider experience or general entrepreneurial experience a plus

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
