INDUS is pleased to announce an immediate opening for a Network/Telecom Analyst to work at our Pentagon location.

Accepting local candidates, only.
+ Perform network management to include controlling, planning, allocating, deploying, coordinating, and monitoring the resources necessary for proper network operations, maintenance and services for the JSSC architecture.
+ Coordinate infrastructure details with internal DoD organizations and coordinate with other contractors or vendor personnel to promptly resolve issues, questions, and problems.
+ Assist in operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting JSSC communication infrastructure, equipment, systems, procedures, and documentation
+ Provide expertise in the current network topologies, protocols equipment and utilizes state-of-the art network management tools for monitoring, collecting, analyzing and reporting system performance data.
+ Configure and maintain Cisco routers, Cisco switches, Juniper Firewall devices, and all associated network equipment, including creating /maintaining routing tables, Access Control Lists (ACLs) and Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs), in a diverse router and switch environment.
+ Set-up a test lab on all new equipment for upgrades, stand-alone testing and later parallel operation prior to implementing to the operating system.
+ Maintain a daily operations log to document significant events affecting network operations and/or application services availability.
+ Responsible for resolving service problems; performing expert maintenance; and installing configuring and testing all types of data communications equipment.
+ Troubleshoot network hardware using test instruments and diagnostic programs.
+ Maintain data network equipment and services to ensure working order and demand availability by performing scheduled, routine on-line tests and by checking, adjusting, or replacing equipment to establish standards.
+ Install and tests various communications equipment and services to specified configurations and ensures proper working order for new or updated network service.
+ Install conduit, cable and junction boxes to support a wide variety of data communications requirements for interconnecting both secure and non-secure information systems network equipment (including workstations, PCs and printers).
+ Terminate and splice twisted pair, coaxial and fiber optic cables as necessary and specified by the particular task/delivery order.
+ Responsible for organizing and performing Site Surveys.
+ Analyze existing and develops new hardware requirements and prepares specifications for hardware acquisitions.
+ Direct and leads preparation of drawings documenting configuration changes at each site.
+ Coordinate post installation operations and maintenance support.
+ Support senior staff as required and ensure customer requirements and project milestones are met

Certifications:
CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) - MUST HAVE
CompTIA Security+ - MUST HAVE
Specialized experience includes the ability to do the items listed as part of the position responsibilities, and the following, but not limited to:
+ analysis, design, and installation of computer-based systems
+ analysis, design, and installation of local area nets
+ analysis and installation of communications systems

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
