Jr. Procurement Analyst

Provides support in the procurement life-cycle process in areas including:
Requirements development
Drafting source selection plans and other procurement artifacts
Proposal evaluation
Market research
Acquisition Planning
Cost estimating and price analysis
Technical evaluation criteria
Contract management and administration
Contract closeout
Provides procurement and administration support
Provides tracking information and advice regarding follow-on actions that are anticipated or required
Prepares Procurement Data Packages and supporting documentation; collect procurement data and provide metrics and display the data in presentation-ready formats (power points, graphs/charts, excel spreadsheets)
Provides post-contract award support including reporting, processing, and distribution. Provide monitoring of contract transactions including the administration of contracts, task orders, delivery orders and modifications
Prepares contract administration documents, including Excel spreadsheets, and contract closeout documentation
Identifying procurement request (PR) artifacts required by Program Offices to process a PR based on dollar value, procurement action, and acquisition strategy
Provides contract analysis support under the direction and guidance of a Procurement and/or Contract Management Specialist
Supports the team in providing services with the preparation and assembly of procurement and/or close-out packages
Performing procurement requisitioning
Serves as a liaison between the Program Office and the Contracting Offices to ensure all packages are complete and in the correct template/format
Required Education:
BA/BS degree in Business Administration or a related discipline with 0-2 years of combined experience with a government agency or contractor.
Required Skills:
Knowledge of and experience with the full acquisition and procurement life-cycle process
General understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)/Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
Knowledge of Federal Government acquisition principles, policies, procedures, concepts, standards, and business systems
Knowledge of procurement, acquisition, purchasing, or operations business processes
Strong consulting and analytical skills required
Excellent client relationship management skills required
Excellent oral and written communication skills required

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
