Description:
The Financial Management Analyst provides tasking support related ?nancial analysis and management. Functions include: invoice validation and payment; expense classi?cation; budget maintenance by accounting code and funding source; cost estimation and/or projection; resolution of billing errors; ?nancial tracking and reporting; reconciliation of cost obligations to actual charges; provision of technical assistance with regard to ?nancial management at the operational level; coordination of efforts and provision of ?nancial data to ensure successful NAS Plan Handoff; budget formulation and execution; and conduct of special analyses and/or examinations of business processes and ?nancial reviews. Performs work with general supervision. May require occasional guidance for task assignments that involve specialty areas for which he/she have limited or no experience. May provide guidance to less experienced/quali?ed Financial Management Analysts.
Required Qualifications:
At least 4 years of progressive business/?nancial management related experience. Experience must include performance of tasking involving some or all of the following: cost estimation; budget planning and preparation; budget tracking; expenditure analysis; budget execution; business system requirements development; and business process re-engineering. Working knowledge of the federal budget process. Pro?cient with the use of automated ?nancial management tools. Pro?cient in Microsoft Excel.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Accounting, Business, Financial Management, or a directly related ?eld. An MBA or graduate degree in a business related ?eld may be substituted for 2 years of work related experience. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
