SUMMARY
The key roles for this position include, but are not limited to, acting as the primary point of contact with E TRADE residential mortgage servicing and sub-servicing vendors, managing the oversight of assigned servicers/sub-servicers and driving progress in key portfolio management or servicing initiatives and programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
? Establish and maintain strong collaborative partnership/relationship/communications with sub-servicers and sellers/servicers functioning as the relationship owner for E TRADE and the servicers.
? Develop and implement loss mitigation strategies, policies, and procedures, in conjunction with the servicers, which will enable E TRADE to properly balance effective credit loss strategies and other E TRADE objectives.
? Manage controllable credit losses with servicers via economically viable workouts and aggressive foreclosure/ bankruptcy timeline and cost management.
? Manage servicers in the area of non-performing loans by determining reasonable benchmarks of performance, clearly setting expectations, measuring performance, providing timely feedback, identifying and communicating Best Practices
? Manage servicer/sub-servicer performance against Service Level Agreements, contracts and other legal agreements.
? Ensure contract compliance by both E TRADE and servicers/sub-servicers.
? Provide monitoring and audits of financial transactions between E TRADE and servicers/sub-servicers
? Obtain all necessary data and information from all servicers to understand and manage E TRADE's loan portfolio analyze the data to understand the performance of E TRADE's loan portfolio and its relative impact to credit losses and REO inflows
? Coordinate efforts and form strong collaborative partnerships with internal departments
REQUIREMENTS
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE
? 5 to 10 years of demonstrated experience in operations, servicing, compliance, regulatory oversight, processing/production, collections, or loan administration function (preferred)
? Prior experience managing mortgage and home equity loan servicing operations and/or related financial services (direct management or through third party servicers) strongly preferred
? Prior experience with servicer oversight including knowledge of mortgage servicing platforms and documentation retention systems (Papervision, Investor Web, Deal Center, SORT, Data site, MSP, or other Black Knight platforms)
? Well-developed communication skills effective interpersonal skills, strong negotiation abilities
? Proven leadership abilities and collaborative & partnership skills
? Strong business acumen and fiscal aptitude
? Strong planning, project management, organizational and follow up skills Ability to multi-task and maintain composure strong sense of urgency with the ability to execute quickly and efficiently
? Strong analytical ability to perform analysis and recommend related processes and solutions
? Ability to multi-task and project planning
? High degree of technical aptitude to include the leverage of systems & technologies to promote a better business model

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
