Director of Institute for Public-Private Partnerships

Tetra Tech IP3, a subsidiary of Tetra Tech dedicated to public-private partnerships, is seeking a Director. The Director is responsible for the overall leadership, day-to-day management, vision, and new business development for the Institute for Public-Private Partnerships (IP3). S/he will be responsible for the direction of the organization, including strategic planning, operations, profit & loss, new business development, and growth planning for IP3's core training, capacity building, consulting and advisory services, and public-private partnership project life cycle consulting. The Director embodies and understands the vision, leadership, decision-making, technical competence, personnel management skills, and personal commitment for accountability that are required for success in our business environment.
Responsibilities include:
Provide leadership and vision to the overall direction and focus of the organization, including the developing and implementation of annual strategic operating plans, resource requirements, and revenue/operating income targets
Offer leadership, vision, and management for IP3's core training services/products and consulting activities, including enhancing and expanding our core services, diversifying the client base, and cross-selling IP3 and Tetra Tech services
Build and maintain outstanding client relations with host governments, banks, donor agencies, regulatory agencies, utility, and private sector officials
Oversee and effectively managing staff, performance reviews, and operational functionality of a well-coordinated team
Report out on monthly profit and loss statements and project revenue, budgets, and income
Provide technical and financial inputs to new business development proposals
Work collaboratively with other Tetra Tech units and subcontractors
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in relevant field preferred
Minimum 20 years of professional experience and 10 years of public-private partnership training and project consulting experience
Exceptional leadership/management record, including experience leading and managing cross-functional integrated teams
Entrepreneurial mindset with high energy and motivation to continue the growth and alignment of a Tetra Tech business unit
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both business-to-business and customer service orientation
Demonstrated evidence of technical excellence (U.S. and/or international) in one or more of IP3's key areas of public-private partnerships, project finance, economics, law, regulation and management
Demonstrated ability to grow a business portfolio in a profit & loss environment
Ability to effectively organize, delegate, communicate with, and motivate people working in a team environment
Demonstrated effective and culturally-sensitive skills interacting with customers and partners in the public-private partnership arena
Knowledge of, or experience teaching in the adult education field
Demonstrated writing ability and previous successful proposal development experience (preferably with multi- or bi-lateral development agencies)
Strong network of industry contacts
Functional competency in at least one major foreign language is a plus
Ability to engage in domestic and international travel (15% - 50% or more)

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
