Master Cyber Security Engineer - Active Secret Clearance

Contract requires US Citizenship and a Secret Clearance is required.
Seeking a cybersecurity engineer or security-focused system administrator to install, configure, operate, and maintain a wide variety of cybersecurity tools and products. Technical responsibility for the security posture of a small data center and network, and will assist with security at other locations worldwide. Help to identify and select products, implement them on the network, and solve all integration issues. Hands-on experience with a wide range of security products including
Intrusion Detection Systems/Intrusion Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS)
Network Access Control systems (NAC)
Security Information and Event Monitoring Systems (SIEM)
Compliance and vulnerability scanning tools (such as Nessus and McAfee Vulnerability Manger)
VMWare security enhancements
Incident response
Disaster recovery, including data backup and restoration
Encryption of data at rest and in transit, including server certificates
Server and workstation hardening, including Group Policy
Security impact analysis of hardware/software change requests
Security architecture exposure
Responsibilities:
Reacting to potential incidents, proactive network scanning to detect vulnerabilities, developing configuration baselines that implement appropriate security settings, and identifying new tools and technologies to be implemented. Select, configure, and install the products necessary for a network of 100 plus users. Work with the system administration staff and focus on all security aspects of system administration. Ability to become the "owner" of all security tools.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelors degree in a technical field
5+ years of hands-on experience with cybersecurity devices AND 5+ years in the IT operations or IT security field
Relevant certification (CISSP, GIAC, Security+, etc.)
Experience configuring and operating security systems such as IDS/IPS, SIEM, NAC, and scanners
Experience with at least 3 of the following sufficient to explain how to configure it: Nessus, McAfee Vulnerability Manager, Cisco SourceFire, Snort, ArcSight, Metasploit, Wireshark, Splunk, or similar products.
Ability to write clear, convincing purchase justifications
US Citizneship and the ability to obtain a secret security clearance (we can process you for the clearance)
Desired:
Masters degree in a technical field
10+ years of hands-on experience with cybersecurity devices
CISSP, CISA, or other advanced certification
Experience comparing and selecting security systems such as IDS/IPS, SIEM, NAC, and scanners
Experience with setting up a disaster recovery site and writing backup & restore plans
Past experience as a system administrator in a Windows server 2008 environment

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
