Sr Ops Support Specialist

Collaborate with ATSA Vice President and Research Team Leaders (RTLs) to serve the division?s operational needs, particularly in the areas of project management and classified document editing. In collaboration with project directors, serve as a liaison with ATSA sponsors for complex projects. Partner with project directors to manage war game event logistics. Perform research and analysis duties related to creating war game materials and reporting war game results.
1 Work with ATSA VP and RTLs to execute short and long-term project related goals/tasks to support execution of large and complex projects.
2 Work independently with limited supervision on multiple, complex projects and tasks within the division. Monitor execution, progress to milestones and completion of deliverables, and timelines/schedules for large complex projects; works with project directors to adjust execution schedules as required.
3 Serve as the primary contact for project administration (such as addendums, SCI IRCCO reviews, and other data or model access requests) for large complex projects, working directly with sponsor?s POC to meet project requirements.
4 Serve as the lead for consulting and subcontracting tasks on large & complex projects working directly with subcontractors and liaising with CNA contracts, finance, and legal as required.
5 Perform operational duties for project events such as ?war games? - including coordinating logistics with sponsors, conducting background research in order to make significant contributions to project events, communicating directly with participants, and working with project directors to develop/acquire event materials as required.
6 Support project events (such as war games or tabletop discussions) and assist with data collection and analyses of events.
7 Review ATSA products and deliverables to ensure they follow the standards established by the sponsors and CNA.
8 Edit classified division documents as assigned for content and clarity; copyedit.
9 Perform other duties as assigned.
1 Education: Master?s degree required. Ph.D. or equivalent degree preferred.
2 Experience: Minimum 10 years relevant experience required, including project management, editing, and event coordination.
3 Skills: Ability to operate independently and proactively in the execution of multiple, complex assignments within the division and have frequent communication with ATSA senior management. Must develop/possess deep knowledge of targeted projects within ATSA in order to support project directors and RTLs. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills; strong critical thinking and organizational skills. Adept at conveying the vision of CNA and ATSA to a range of sponsors, war game participants, and other stakeholders. Must possess ability to exercise leadership and sound judgment in decision-making in the areas of task planning and tracking, staffing, and delegating effectively. Ability to work across complex tasks simultaneously and independently, and to anticipate competing deadlines.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
