Job Duties/Responsibilities:
DoD Executive Administrative Assistant will provide the full range of project management, logistical, and administrative services in support of the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy (OUSDP).
Primary job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Senior level editorial, briefing and presentation development.
- Help set and manage office priorities.
- Manage project areas and tracks budgets related to travel, gifts, office procedures; tracking schedules and analyzing priorities; and analyzing data for further action.
- Assist in developing position papers and presentations to managers to recommend options and methods for achieving objectives.
- Complete tasking and oversee task tracking systems. Must be able to interact with high level government and foreign personnel, as well as liaison with multiple DoD offices.
- Maintain charge numbers, downloading project costs and commitments, tracking and reporting project status, preparing estimates at completion for small contracts, providing input to sales recognition and sales analysis reports, and performing time and materials rate analyses.
- Additional Responsibilities may also include, reviewing intelligence summaries and highlight critical items; developing agendas; providing meeting support; processing FOIA requests; advising on human cap completing country clearance requests; reviewing timecards; developing briefings and memos; tracking office priorities; overseeing document management and others.
Qualifications
:
Education/Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is highly desired. High School diploma or GED and 3-4+ years of related project administration experience directly supporting general/flag officers, Senior Executive Service or high-level federal civilian staff are required.
Required Skills:
- Basic computer skills to assist with performing word processing, spreadsheet management, and conducting internet research Understanding of DoD policies and regulations.
- Ability to work at the highest level while maintaining a positive/optimistic attitude in a fast-paced, deadline-driven office environment, frequently completing short-notice tasking.
- Experience with Department of Defense procedures and working environment.
- Knowledge of proper protocol and etiquette associated in dealing with top government executives.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal direction, applying analytical skills, knowledge and experience to handle non-routine and moderately complex to complex occurring events.
Desired Skills:
- General Knowledge of Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) Policy functions and missions.
- Prior US military service
Security Clearance Requirements:
- An active, transferable Top Secret clearance with an in-scope SSBI for SCI eligibility is required (existing TS/SCI access is HIGHLY preferred) .
Candidate selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and must meet & maintain eligibility requirements for access to sensitive compartmented information and/or facilities.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
