Description
Invincea Labs, the research development arm of Invincea Labs, is looking for a Senior Research Engineer with DevOps expertise.The successful candidate will have/hands on/infrastructure automation experience in both public and private clouds. The candidate will work within a cross-functional research and development team focused on advancing the state-of-the-art in large scale, distributed sensor networks. The system, when fully realized will need to process and store a steady stream of sensor data on the scale of 100MB/s in a heavily distributed computer cluster. As such, the ideal candidate will need to have a passion for automation and ensuring our systems are running as efficiently as possible.
Responsibilities include:
Fully automaton a Mesos+ Docker based backbone in both public and private cloud environments
Establishing a CI/CD environment
Creating performance dashboards, identifying execution hotspots
Requirements:
A four year degree in CS,EE, or Math or related on the job experience
Git wizardry
Prior experience with automation tools such as Chef or Ansible
Prior experience with build tools such as Jenkins or GoCD
Deep understanding of Linux scripting
Development expertise in Python and/or Java
Strong communication skills
Nice to haves:
Prior experience deploying containers with Mesos, Docker and Weave
Experience developing security solutions and products
High-availabilty system experience
Experience with Big Data tools (Hadoop, Spark Cassandra)
An active DoD clearance (Secret or above)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
