DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Geospatial Analyst (GA) Journeyman utilizes demonstrated knowledge and experience in applying geospatial analytic methodologies and principles to understand intelligence issues and develop geospatial intelligence reports and products to solve problems. Position leverages understanding of GIS technology, spatial thinking, remote sensing, intelligence issues, and the social and physical sciences to create information, characterize events, and discover relationships and trends. Performs analyst functions to produce descriptive and predictive analyses and communicate findings as written, visual, and/or oral geospatial intelligence. Works closely with other analysts, Task Leads, or Project Manager. Directs the activities of apprentice analysts as necessary.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
3 to 10 years of relevant experience with Geospatial Intelligence or Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
Demonstrated MS Word, PowerPoint, Database entry and Graphic Design Principles Skills.
Knowledge and experience with digital Cartography, Image Processing, Computer Technology, Geographical Information Systems (GIS), Geospatial Production Techniques, Remote Sensing, and Photogrammetry.
Knowledge of and experience with ArcGIS, ArcSDE, ArcView, ArcIMS, ArcTools, the Integrated Exploitation Capability (IEC) system, SocetSet, TerraExplorer/Builder, RemoteView, ERDAS IMAGINE, MRSID, VB/VBA (or some other object oriented programming/scripting language), Oracle and other appropriate software to analyze geospatial data.
Expertise in Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing, Image Processing, or Regional Expertise is also desirable.
Demonstrated knowledge of Commercial Imagery, Products, Processes and Sensors.
Demonstrated Customer Support Skills.
US Citizenship is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain and retain the designated Government clearance (TS/SCI). Must have an active TS/SCI clearance.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
