Withdrawal Recovery Worker (261-136)

The Withdrawal Recovery Worker will work under the supervision of the Director/Lead Detox Counselor and coordinate substance abuse treatment services. S/he will work implementing and completing those tasks necessary in the recruitment, assessment and admission of clients. S/he will also hone their skills and be responsible for compliance with policies and procedures regarding record keeping and HIPPA laws.
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree strongly preferred. CASAC required or documentation that applicant in process of obtaining certification. If a recovering alcoholic or drug addict, a minimum of three (3) years of sobriety is required. VOA dress shirts are required for each shift.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
