Job SummaryDirectly assists the Deloitte Small Business Liaison Officer implement the tactical and strategic elements of the Firm s Small Business strategy. This is inclusive of compliance and business requirements and objectives. Serves as a Small Business subject matter expert on related federal acquisition regulations statue, policy, regulations, and internal policy and procedures. Assists with the development and implementation of a Small Business compliance and Quality Assurance program. Ability to effectively and persuasively provide advisory level support that affects and shapes teaming strategies and maintains compliance. When necessary, represent Deloitte s at small business events (e.g. fairs, training, and educational programs.Illustrative Duties and Responsibilities1. Assists with the development of practice-wide small business sourcing and teaming strategies.2. Advise on and develop small-business subcontracting plans and small-business participation plans.3. Serve as the back-up to the Deloitte Small Business Liaison4. Review and analyze solicitations to understand the terms and conditions to assess potential unique or undue risk to small-business teammates.5. Effectively builds and maintains relationships with key client points of contact and the small business community6. Researches, monitors, and communicates regulatory developments related to small business7. Effectively coordinates with Federal stakeholders and leadership to implement small business initiatives8. Assesses regulations and compliance review trends to guide planning, process improvements, and corrective actions.9. Responds to information requests from contractual professionals in FCD as well as external stakeholders including auditors.Required: Bachelor's Degree5-10 years of relevant work experienceStrong consultative and communication skillsDemonstrated ability to effectively implement all facets of FAR Part 52.219-9 requirementsProficient knowledge of the FAR lifecycleDemonstrated experience analyzing and responding to multiple Federal solicitation types to meet small business requirementsDemonstrated public speaking experienceProficient with MS Outlook, Skype, Excel, and PowerPoint Preferred:Advanced DegreeExperience working with all (veteran-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, HUBZone, small disadvantaged, women-owned small businesses as well as ANC/Tribal/NHO, and HBCU/MI) categories of small business.Demonstrated public speaking experience to groups of 50 peopleExperience independently leading group projects with organizational impact

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
