This particular group within Deloitte Services LP provides support to the Federal industry. Position Summary Performs government property administration duties requiring strong organizational and analytical skills. Develops and executes procedures for receipts and management of equipment. Works closely with internal clients, providing guidance throughout the contract life cycle. Prepares a variety of government required reports and may represent firm during audits. May have responsibility for interface and negotiations with subcontractors. May provide work leadership for lower level employees. Illustrative Duties and Responsibilities 1. Provides principal support to project teams in the administration of the government property program2. Identifies requirements such as compliance/flow downs from prime contracts, adheres to contract insurance provisions, evaluates and makes recommendations on deviations from standard procedures3. Assists in developing procedures, instructions and training4. Assists in implementing government property processes such as property control, inventories, training and disposal processes5. Maintains property record database for uniquely identified property, summary records, subcontractor property, excess property and disposed property6. Analyzes property records and reports to identify non-compliance; works closely with project teams to resolve identified issues7. Prepares various property reports such as inventory and status of property8. Participates in government property related meetings and organizes materials for preparation of meetings, presentations and training sessionsRequired: General knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), applicable agency requirements, and government contractsProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Preferred: Bachelor s Degree preferably in Business related fieldMinimum of 2 years of experience in the Federal environment, preferably in Federal Contracting/Acquisition/Government Property Administration

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
