CSRA is seeking a CBP Project Support Administrator in Crystal City to help us run our new team of 60 engineers. Our team is helping Customs and Border Protection procure the equipment and technology needed to keep our borders safe and secure. In the morning, you could be polishing a Word report on Tethered Aerostats or finishing a presentation on Ultra-Low Aircraft Radar Systems. In the afternoon, you could be updating the Action Item list or creating project timelines for review by senior executives in the Department of Homeland Security. CSRA recently won a program to support the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Office of Technology, Integration and Acquisition (OTIA). We deliver trusted expert advice to the Government as they buy complicated modern technology to keep the nation safe. We provide subject matter experts in the areas of systems engineering, test and evaluation, cost estimateing, logistics and sustainment, environmental engineering, real estate planning, and facilities planning and engineering. Our team helps CBP OTIA procure the equipment and technology to keep the border safe and secure.
Essential Job Functions
Develops and manages multiple, complex project and deliverables.
Provides input to project scope, schedule and budget baselines based on an understanding of the program or system development life cycle.
Maintains changes to project baselines, monitors deliverables, conducts reviews, and manages incorporation of quality management systems for the project.
Prepares presentations and other materials to support project and/or system functions.
Leads activities to identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
Drafts correspondence, reports, white papers, minutes, spreadsheets, communications products, briefs, and other documentation.
Maintains and tracks action items, and participates in acquisition information management.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, information technology or related field preferred
Zero or more years of business solutions, management analysis experience
Experience working with company products, services, management practices, and business processes
Experience working with the business environment, business industry and competitor products and services
Experience working with office productivity tools; delivery assurance and/or industry standards on deliverables
Experience working with administrative and/or workflow systems
Other Qualifications
Customs and Border Protection Background Investigation (BI) desired.
Basic communication skills to communicate with customers, support personnel and management
Basic creative thinking, problem solving, planning, time-management and organization skills to balance and prioritize work
Good human relations skills
Ability to create and maintain formal and informal networks
Ability to work in a team environment

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
