CSRA recently won a program to support the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Office of Technology, Integration and Acquisition (OTIA). The team provides subject matter experts in the areas of systems engineering, test and evaluation, cost estimateing, logistics and sustainment, environmental engineering, real estate planning, and facilities planning and engineering. The team helps CBP OTIA procure the equipment and technology to keep the border safe and secure.
CSRA is seeking a Quality Specialist in Crystal City to join our technical management team for the Customs and Border Protection Engineering Program. Our team is helping Customs and Border Protection procure the equipment and technology needed to keep our borders safe and secure. As a member of a small team for quality assurance, you will assist in developing and implementing quality management plans. Using your background in quality assurance, you will ensure the integrity of technical documentation for CBP OTIA acquisitions. This is a new program for CSRA in a growing field. Essential Job Functions
Plans and designs management processes; assists in formulating recommendations to improve and support business activities.
Analyzes and documents clients business requirements and processes; communicates these requirements to appropriate personnel to ensure client needs match management strategies. Documents gaps and concerns.
Assists experienced analysts in preparing and analyzing project plans to ensure a best practice approach to meeting client needs.
Assists with identifying process gaps, proposes alternatives and recommends implementation of new processes to improve management practices as they relate to organizational goals.
Works directly with client personnel and team members and assists in the analysis and implementation of profit improvement strategies.
Executes systems test from existing test plans. Assists in analyzing testing results throughout project.
Participates in technical reviews and inspections to verify 'intent of change' is carried throughout project.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, information technology or related field preferred
Five to nine years of business solutions or management analysis experience
Experience working with company products, services, management practices, project design, and business processes
Experience working with the business environment, business industry and competitor products and services
Experience working with office productivity tools; delivery assurance and/or industry standards on deliverables
Experience working with administrative and/or workflow systems
Other Qualifications
Creative thinking, problem solving, planning, time-management and organization skills to balance and prioritize work
Communication skills to communicate with customers, support personnel and management
Good human relations skills
Ability to create and maintain formal and informal networks
Ability to lead and work in a team environment
Customs and Border Protection Background Investigation (BI) desired.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
