Sr Wargaming Specialist

This position manages project work through the design, development, implementation, and analysis of professional games, including wargames. In collaboration with project directors, serve as a liaison with division sponsors for complex projects. Partner with project
directors to manage war game event logistics. Perform research and analysis duties related to creating war game materials and reporting war game results.
1 This position requires the design, development, management, implementation, facilitation, and analyzation of games in support of CNA research and other activities.
2 Perform operational duties for project ?war games? - including coordinating logistics with sponsors, conducting background research in order to make significant contributions to project events, communicating directly with participants, and working with project directors to develop/acquire event materials as required.
3 Oversee the development of gaming as a business area.
4 Support the development of other business activities as required.
5 Manage the long-term development of CNA's gaming capability and reputation.
6 Maintain the high quality of all game and analytic products including written, graphical, and briefing materials.
7 Manage projects with analysis and other tasks as assigned, such as facilitation or project management.
8 Work independently with limited supervision on multiple, complex projects and tasks within the division. Monitor execution, progress to milestones and completion of deliverables, and timelines/schedules for large complex projects; works with project directors to adjust execution schedules as required.
9 Maintain good relations with all levels and functional areas of CNA.
10 Interact effectively with all echelons and ranks of the sponsors as required by project tasks; Serve as the lead for consulting and subcontracting tasks on large & complex projects working directly with subcontractors and liaising with CNA contracts, finance, and legal as required.
11 Perform other duties as assigned.
1 Education: Bachelor?s degree required.
2 Experience: Minimum 10 years relevant experience required in DoD analysis, gaming, or similar occupation.
3 Skills: Ability to operate independently and proactively in the design, preparation, and execution of games and other project support. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills; strong critical thinking and organizational skills. Adept at conveying the vision of CNA and division to a range of sponsors, war game participants, and other stakeholders. Must possess ability to exercise leadership and sound judgment in decision-making in the areas of task planning and tracking, game execution, and delegating effectively. Ability to work across complex tasks simultaneously and independently, and to anticipate competing deadlines.
4 Other: Ability to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance. Active Secret security clearance upon hire preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
