The Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO), under guidance of the business unit Information Security Systems Manager (ISSM) is responsible for meeting BBN Technologies? Certification and Accreditation (C&A) requirements for accredited information systems; executing required functions as defined by the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), Joint Air Force, Army, and Navy (JAFAN) standards, and Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) in support of the Facility Security Officer ? supporting systems and services for individuals working with the accredited systems. This position also provides the opportunity to support challenging technical tasks on a not-to-interfere basis. Specific responsibilities include: ? Coordinates, implements and ensures that proper procedures are followed in accordance with the NISPOM & Industrial Security Field Operations (ISFO) Manual, ICD?s, BBN Security protocols and procedures; DoD and other applicable government sponsor regulations. Establishes, documents, implements and monitors the Information Systems (IS) Security Program for the facility. Develops and implements Master System Security Plans (MSSP), Information System Profiles, Network System Security Plans (SSPs) and addendums. Ensures computer systems meet ICD, JAFAN, and NISPOM standards. ? Documents hardware and software upgrades/changes in the classified information system to accurately maintain security records per DSS?s configuration management/change management process. ? Manages and maintains system access and training for all classified systems. ? Supports the FSO in preparation and conduct of government inspections. Performs periodic self-inspections, tests and reviews of the IS program. ? Ensures audit functions are performed properly. Conducts administrative inquiries/investigations into anomalies found during audit trail analysis. ? Advises management on integration and support related to providing customer support for classified systems. ? Investigates, documents, and reports computer security incidents in a timely manner. Responsible for all incident reporting to DSS and/or the cognizant security agency. ? Reviews and provides ISSM approval for system security plans for specific programs and projects. ? Provides the customer with detailed written recommendations for all system security plans submitted for review. ? Ensures security-related documentation (including the Site Security Plan and the System Security Plan) are up-to-date. ? Demonstrates an interest in supporting technical work and programs, on a not-to-interfere basis with principal ISSO responsibilities. ? Demonstrates strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to coordinate activities with the FSO, technical staff, and the Site Director. Required Education/Experience: ? BS degree in an information systems/technology or related field and 6 years of experience in Information Assurance disciplines. ? Must have final TS clearance. ? Must be eligible to hold and maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance. ? Must have 5+ years of prior experience working with government classified systems. ? Detailed understanding of the federal rules/regulations that encompass the SCI and collateral information security processes. ? Experience and familiarity with the DoD Information System Certification & Accreditation, to include knowledge of the JAFAN, DCID/ICD, DIACAP or NISPOM requirements. ? Experience developing System Security Plans (SSPs) and all supporting certification and accreditation documentation. ? Experience supporting various computer hardware and multiple operating systems in both a stand-alone and in LAN/WAN configurations. Desired Skills/Experience/Certifications: ? An active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance or prior SCI/program eligibility. ? Knowledge in Windows, Linux, and MAC operating systems, auditing and security controls; and management/audit reduction tools. ? Knowledge of computer forensics tools and investigative methodologies. ? Experience with various types of special test equipment (STE). ? Current ISSO certification/DoD 8570 (Information Assurance Workforce) IAM level 2 certification (e.g. SSCP and CAP) ? Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
