Senior Marketing Manager Deloitte Global (Firm Internal)

Deloitte's Global Tax & Legal Marketing team has an opening for an experienced Senior Marketing Manager. The candidate will work directly with the Managing Director of Marketing, the Global Service Line leaders and will interface with other senior leaders within the countries, regions, industries and business areas.
Purpose:
Lead key initiatives and projects relating to the Global Service Lines with the goal of developing a more globally consistent, integrated market focused Tax & Legal organization.
Identify and leverage opportunities to position Deloitte as a thought leader in the global tax & legal service spaces.
Influence cross-matrix stakeholders to collaborate on developing global solutions, service offerings and programs to address relevant market needs.
Assist member firm marketing teams in shifting from promotion of individual service offerings to a business trend marketing approach. This will present multiple service offerings within the context of current business issues making them more relevant and timely.
Foster a global mindset among country and service line stakeholders to enable a consistent, cohesive market facing image globally for Deloitte Tax & Legal and to deliver on a common, global storefront.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and drive assigned global strategic marketing projects.
Work with the Global Tax & Legal Service Line leaders to develop service line go-to-market programs and associated deliverables (i.e., positioning statements, branding, collateral, placemats, elevator speeches, advertising, FAQs, infographics and visualizations, multimedia and videos, etc.)
Coordinate, where appropriate, with the communications, quality and risk, innovation, service delivery, knowledge management, and learning teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.
Collaborate with country and regional Tax & Legal marketing professionals to leverage combined efforts.
Create, direct, and manage tactical execution of external marketing plans. Programs could include conferences, thought-ware (whitepapers, by-line articles, etc), podcasts, webcasts, speaking opportunities, media and analyst relations. Coordinate all supporting resources including writers, graphic designers and related knowledge management and/or web resources. Responsible for ensuring the quality of the end deliverables is consistent with Deloitte's high standards and brand position.
Manage the work of assigned direct reports, mentor and grow more junior team members.
This role combines marketing expertise with strong project management skills. The ideal candidate will be an experienced senior manager with the ability to influence senior leaders and spark action from resources who do not report to our team. He or she will possess the skills to successfully drive projects forward including extremely strong verbal and written communication skills, marketing expertise, critical thinking skills, proactive problem solving abilities, a strong collaborative mindset and solid project management skills.
Minimum 5-7 years marketing program or project management experience in a business environment.
Demonstrated expertise in marketing and deep understanding of the complexities surrounding collaboration in a global matrix environment.
Demonstrated ability to oversee the aesthetic direction of a marketing project or campaign, providing guidance, criticism, motivation, and ideas where appropriate
Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality, and a critical eye for design aesthetics.
Demonstrated project management and process implementation experience.
Exceptional ability to actively listen, understand, communicate and build consensus in a diverse global environment with various levels of leadership.
Strong strategic planning, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Experience managing resources or teams virtually in a global environment.
Internally driven commitment to continuous learning.
Personal drive to focus on making an impact that matters.
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in marketing, communications, business or related field preferred.
Verbal and written fluency in English.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
