HRIS Manager

We are currently looking for a HRIS Manager to join the Thales USA team in Arlington, VA.
The position requires a highly analytical, self-motivated person who can lead HR into expanding the capabilities of Workday and other HR systems. This position will be responsible for the management, configuration, testing, security, business process design and maintenance, data integrity, and end-user system training for various Human Resource systems. This position will ensure the accuracy and delivery of reports and data from HR systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as the master user/expert for HR systems (including Workday, e-Systems, Taleo, Neocase, etc?) to ensure data accuracy, support HR process enhancements, design and develop the functionality and integrations to meet the evolving needs of the business.
Serve as a key liaison with Group HRIS, ensuring implementation or upgrades to group wide HR systems are effectively delivered in Thales USA.
Setup and maintain system configurations, automated business processes, system security.
Drive and process system enhancements using an effective project management methodology. Continually review processes to identify system solutions/automation for process improvements for optimal use of HR systems.
Ensure a rigorous change control system is adhered to for audit purposes, including the creation of technical documentations and update with any system changes. Coordinate HR system related policy and procedures.
Ensures HR database integrity and accuracy through audits, reconciliation and correction of data. Lead and ensure the accuracy and integrity of all data entered, oversees maintenance of data in HR systems and databases and assures information is available on a timely basis.
Provides guidance on complex or escalated HR system issues. Serves as a resource to troubleshoot all HR system related discrepancies and problem resolution.
Establish, coordinate and maintain end-user training, coaching and associated documentation on HR Systems.
Engage with the wider HR community in the roll out of HR initiatives and projects across HR Shared Services and the organization.
Provides analytical support to HR teams, Senior Management, Finance and others to create, prepare, maintain and support a variety of reports utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Provide ad hoc analysis as requested. Create data reports and metrics in consultation with internal clients. Present to management teams as required.
Ensure the on-time delivery of Thales USA reporting schedule across the Workday, Taleo, Neocase and e-Systems to identified customers.

Confidentiality of sensitive information (reporting, ITAR, etc?.)
Required Competencies:
Prior experience in the implementation, development, and functional support of Workday Core HCM. Experience with the recruiting module a plus.
Excellent understanding of HRIS database design, structure, functions & processes and experience with database tools
Advanced expertise in data architecture, data acquisitions, archive recovery, data conversions.
Reporting tools (Microsoft Report Builder, Cognos, Business Objects, Oracle Toad SQL).
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
High attention to detail with strong analytical and numerical skills
Business analysis skills with the ability to design, map and optimize processes applying LEAN methodology
Ability to root cause problems/inefficiencies with HR systems.
Managing and developing direct reports.
Exceptional problem-solving and time management skills.
Proven Project Management skills and expertise.
Experience working in a service delivery center (HR, Finance, Customer Support, Contact Center).
Highly effective written and oral communication with vendors, internal functions, Corporate HRIS function & HR group.
Strong personal and technical communication skills.
Acts as primary contact for assigned function and responds to technical administrative questions and ensures necessary follow up.
Excellent attention to detail.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree
Workday proficiency required: The ideal candidate will have experience configuring and supporting Workday HCM.
5 years of experience working with human resources information systems
2 years at leading/managing HR system team
HR system implementation experience
Desired Qualifications:
Technical knowledge to cover: Workday HCM, Taleo Enterprise, Neocase , Cognos, Business Objects, Microsoft SQL Management Studio, Oracle Database, HTML, SQL, CSS,, XML, XSLT, , JavaScript

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
