Theposition is located in the Office of Administration, Operational SupportDivision; Arlington, VA.
Theincumbent will perform the duties:
Analyzes and evaluates overall effectiveness of a Records Management Freedom of Information and Investigative Recordsprogram; and determining the need for agency training.
Develops policies and procedures in the effort to streamline and resolvesystemic program issues and problems.
Exercises a range of supervisory personnel management responsibilities, to include:planning and assigning work, setting and adjusting work priorities, evaluatingwork performance, interviewing candidates for positions, and identifyingdevelopmental/training needs.
Explainsand defines responsibilities, objectives, and goals to subordinate staff andsupervisors and evaluates results achieved for program compliance andeffectiveness.
Executes establishedadministrative and human resource management functions and practices relativeto the staff supervised.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
