Manager, Member Recruitment

The development team at The Seminar Network seeks a Manager, Member Recruitment to join its team. This role will work within a fast-moving team to identify prospects interested in achieving shared goals and then drive strategies to engage those potential partners. Essential Responsibilities:
Own and drive segmented and individualized strategies to engage new philanthropic partners, executing those strategies directly, through other investor-facing team members, and through senior leadership.
Develop a prospect pipeline though knowledge of potential partners and independent research, as well as by leveraging current partners' connections and the team's internal research capability.
Provide analysis on effectiveness of various member recruitment strategies.
Develop a thorough understanding of the organizations that The Seminar Network development team is charged with supporting, including their missions, strategies, and "investable opportunities."
Assist and/or lead other development projects as they occur, including but not limited to managing the execution of various tactics and general events logistics.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university is required
4+ years' experience in a professional environment is required
Past experience in major gift fundraising and a familiarity with concepts of Moves Management is preferred
Less than 20% travel is required
A passion and commitment to free-market principles
Advanced skills in strategic planning and coordination
Exceptional interpersonal skills and high degree of discretion and confidentiality
Experience with SalesForce is preferred
Demonstrated evidence of leadership ability or entrepreneurial behavior
Humility, integrity, passion, motivation, and a self-starter attitude

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
