Description
The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) mission is to preserve and promote public confidence in the U.S. financial systems by insuring deposits in banks and thrift institutions for up to $250,000; by identifying, monitoring, and addressing risks to the deposit insurance funds; and by limiting the effect on the account and the financial system when a bank or thrift institution fails.
CSRA provides the day-to-day operational services to FDIC in support of infrastructure, facilities, hardware, software, and systems. CSRA supports operational security, client support/help desk, data center operations, asset management, and systems engineering service areas.
Essential Job Functions
Provide subject matter expertise in ServiceNow Reports design and development.
Performs requirements analysis and provide level of effort and support project planning tasks
Create and update technical and functional documentation such as operational procedures, report requirement documents, training materials, etc.
Design, create, modify, implement and maintain ServiceNow reports and dashboards
Interact and collaborate with DBAs, Business Objects Administrators in support for Business Objects operations
Support data validation and report reconciliation efforts
Provide deployment support during go-live for major and minor releases
Experience managing ServiceNow report changes through environments (development to production) using Update Sets
Ability to analyze complex problems and business requirements, recommend innovative alternatives and solutions and to implement complex, innovative solutions
Document and maintain detailed report specification for all reports
Must be able to communicate effectively, be customer service focused, and well organized
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, evaluates alternatives including cost and risk, supportability and analyses for total systems.
Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Qualifications
BS or equivalent + 9 yrs related experience, or MS + 7 yrs related experience
Understanding of ServiceNow table structure/schema
Understanding of relational databases
Advanced MS Excel skills (v-lookups, Pivot Tables, etc)
Create BO Universes using Information Design Tool (IDT) and Universe Designer Tool (UDT)
Understanding of BMC Remedy table structure
ServiceNow Certified Administrator desired

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
