The National Cybersecurity Protection System (NCPS) is an integrated system of intrusion detection, analytics, intrusion prevention, and information sharing capabilities that are used to defend the Federal Executive Branch's IT infrastructure from cyber threats. NCPS is housed within the Network Security Deployment (NSD) Division of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
CSRA provides NSD with operations and maintenance support to sustain NCPS cybersecurity capabilities.
We are currently seeking an experienced System Engineer with hands on knowledge of VMware in Arlington, VA. This position requires the chosen candidate to have an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
This position is responsible for the implementation and operational support of all aspects of client's Virtualization Infrastructure. This Infrastructure supports servers, desktops, terminal servers, networks, application virtualization and storage. The successful candidate will possess a solid understanding of VMware virtualization products and be able to troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, configuration and operational problems across the VMware platform.
Essential Job Functions:
Build, install, configure and maintain VMware products including ESXi servers and clusters.
Develop, automate and implement operations in accordance with best practices and established standards.
Provide advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution of the entire virtualized environment.
Performs repairs, maintenance and upgrades of existing systems using solutions in accordance with existing standards.
Design and develops highly complex, integrated solutions to meet business requirements or enhance performance.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred
Seven or more years of experience in systems engineering, software engineering, operating systems programming or naval architecture
Experience working with computer hardware, operating system software and desktop applications with a specific concentration in one or more areas
Experience working with one or more structured programming languages
Experience working with design principles and applications
Other Qualifications
Seven years of experience as a VMWare system administrator
Advanced technical knowledge of VMware virtualization technologies (vCenter, vSphere, ESXi )
Technical knowledge of HP and IBM hardware, particularly blade technology.
It would be great if you also had:
Solid knowledge of Linux
Solid knowledge of network protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, VLANS, etc.)
Experienced hands-on knowledge with the following:
Dynamic Resource Scheduler (DRS) and High Available (HA) configurations
vCLI and scripting
Security Hardening
Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) for Virtualization HW
VMWare Update Manager
vSphere Data Protection
Ability to work in a fast paced, evolving environment.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
