Senior Advisor (Juvenile)
This position is not a current vacancy and is contingent upon availability and is located in Afghanistan.
Duties:
Focus on compliance of operations with SOW, regulations and policies, implementation of US Embassy Kabul INL Section operational strategies.
Establishment of management targets and monitoring achievement of results.
Provide advice on strategies, policies and plans affecting project operations, delivery of training, mentoring, and advisory services.
Establish collaborative arrangements and appropriate operational partnerships with Afghan and other international organizations.
Qualifications:
Must be an American Citizen
Must be able to secure and maintain MRPT security certification
Minimum (5) five years as Associate/Deputy Warden (or equivalent) OR minimum (7) seven years as a Major (or equivalent)
NOTE: Training advisors may qualify for Senior Advisor level positions with minimum of (5) years as a Training Academy Director or as the senior training officer of a correctional institution (or equivalent).
Minimum (10) ten years' experience in corrections
Graduate of a certified state, federal, or local corrections and/or probation and parole academy

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
