Senior CADD Technician
PAE is currently seeking a CAD Technician to support US Embassy Operations Worldwide.
The Senior CAD Technician will:
Use Autodesk AutoCAD software to:
Prepare to scale architectural drawings representing site plan layouts.
Prepare to scale architectural drawings representing floor plan layouts.
Prepare scale elevation drawings depicting layout of electronic and electrical equipment.
Prepare isometric details of electrical and electronic equipment and riser diagrams.
Prepare electrical diagrams and single-line drawings.
Produce schedules.
Read and interpret electrical and electromechanical schematics and architectural drawings.
Communicate effectively with Design Engineer, Program Manager, and other staff.
Mentor junior staff.
Travel to Worldwide locations as required.
Perform other duties as required.
An Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent experience is required.
Five years of direct experience with Autodesk AutoCAD is required.
Must be proficient in the use of Autodesk AutoCAD software.
Experience with Revit and Microstation
CADD Certification(s) preferred.
Experience creating Electrical / telecommunications drawings for commercial or government buildings is desired.
Must possess an active secret clearance and be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret.
Must be willing and able to travel internationally 10%-20% of the time.
Must be willing and able to live and work on remote sites in shared accommodations.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
